Shri Lalit Bohra (DIN: 08061561) is Joint Secretary in Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, Government of India. He is looking after Wind Energy including Offshore Wind and Transmission System including Green Energy Corridors. Before this he was looking after Solar Energy which includes PLI Scheme for Solar manufacturing, Rooftop Solar programme, PM-KUSUM Scheme, CPSU Scheme and battery Storage etc. He was also Director General of National Institute of Solar Energy. He is an Electrical Engineer from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and an MBA (Finance) from Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani. He is an IRTS (Indian Railway Traffic Service) Officer of 1998 Batch.
