World Energy Congress (WEC) 2024
POWERGRID participated in the 26th World Energy Congress (WEC) 2024, held at Rotterdam, Netherlands from 22nd to 25th April, 2024. The company displayed its transmission and other businesses, as part of India Pavilion at the exhibition. The pavilion was inaugurated by Shri Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary, Ministry of Power along with Ms. Reenat Sandhu, Ambassador of India to the Netherlands in presence of Shri Srikant Nagulapalli, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Power, Shri R. K. Tyagi, CMD, POWERGRID, CMDs of CPSEs, and senior Officers of POWERGRID was part of WEC panel discussions on Transition with eminent experts from across the world. High level international dignitaries and energy experts visited the stall and held discussions. A booklet on the achievements and future plans of POWERGRID was also released by Secretary (Power) and CMD, POWERGRID in the presence of dignitaries from the Indian power sector.
